As the seasons change, you may be cleaning out your closet and thinking about your winter wardrobe. If you have any gently-used coats, we want to remind you about our ongoing Coat Drive for the South End Community Outreach Center and Capital District Latinos. Children, Adults, and Teens in our community aren't always able to purchase the proper clothing for the cold autumn and winter months.
As part of our ongoing partnership with the South End Community Outreach Center and Capital District Latinos, First Congregational has placed a large wicker basket in Palmer Hall to collect clean coats for all ages. Coats are delivered by church volunteers throughout the year to the center.
Together, we can be sure that everyone stays warm during the cold months in the Capital District.
