On Saturday, September 17th 2022, we celebrated the life and legacy of Ruth Bowmaker Dennehey (September 2, 1954 - August 16, 2022).
Ruth was a long-time member of our church family, joining us in membership on October 7th, 1984, and later marrying her husband, Michael, in January 1989. Ruth was known by all for her exceptional sense of humor, her compassion for others, and her tireless dedication to church life. Ruth served for many years on the Board of Trustees and was also an enthusiastic member of our choir. Many in our church family may also remember Ruth's remarkable portrayal of The Virgin Mary during our nativity pageant - a performance that still brings a warm smile and a chuckle to all who were in attendance.

We are pleased to be able to provide you with a recording of Ruth's service with photos from the day. Per the family's request and in keeping with Ruth's love of music and singing, Memorial Contributions may be made to First Congregational Church Organ Fund by clicking on the donation link.
We encourage you to take a moment to remember the life and legacy of Ruth Bowmaker Dennehey.
